Xactly Sharpens its Sales Performance Management Tool Set

Xactly, a provider of cloud-based incentive technologies, has upgraded its tool set to arm sales managers with deeper insights into their reps' performance so that they can coach them toward desired goals and boost company revenues. Among these are additions to its Xactly Insights offering, which gives manager ready access to detailed benchmarking data; the release of Xactly Inspire, a tool for helping with coaching and training new employees; the Prior Period Adjustments feature, designed to ease a company’s auditability calculations; and Xactly Connect, an integration tool set that gives sales executives more control over data.

Launched in late 2014, the Xactly Insights reporting platform is designed to let users see how their compensation plans compare to those of similar businesses, and adjust them according to industry standards. Users can leverage tools to set their plans in motion, as well as track and analyze their performances to calculate the appropriate compensation plans moving forward. Additions to the system enable managers to drill down into data beyond their peer averages, to see the top 25th percentile, the median, the 75th percentile, and the 90th percentile. End users can now also measure their performances across 28 of the most relevant sales management and finance metrics, including plan, spend, and credit.

Prior Period Adjustments allows companies to automate the process of calculating impacts of past incentives and apply any corresponding adjustments to each employee's future paychecks. The goal is to make it easier for users to make the necessary changes required by their businesses, while making sure they are accurate and visible.

Xactly Connect provides end users with access to, and control over, their incentive compensation management data. The solution's integration features enable users to manage the flow of data from Xactly's Incentive tool into other existing systems.

Also available now to customers is Xactly’s Inspire offering, which aims to improve new-hire ramp times and allows managers to reward the behaviors that align with a company's corporate goals.

According to Evan Ellis, Xactly's president and COO, compensation is one of the most complex and strategic business operations that companies have to manage, as it spans both front- and back office capabilities. Ellis commented on the releases in a statement:

"We are the only company in our industry whose suite is built on big data architecture, allowing us to provide innovations that touch both [the back and front offices]—including Xactly Insights, Advanced Search, and now Prior Period Adjustments. We will continue to build off this unique platform to provide enterprise-class solutions, allowing our customers to scale and optimize their incentive programs to meet the changing dynamics of their business."
