Mangosteen Studio Launches DeadAccount

Mangosteen Studio today launched DeadAccount, a sales tool that re-tiers every account in B2B sales reps' territories each week and hands them a verdict every Monday morning.

Reps don't write prompts or run searches. They add the accounts they already own once and DeadAccount does the research, ranks the book, and prepares an account brief.

Every week, seven research agents (Graveyard, M&A, Funding, Hierarchy, Triggers, Pain and Industry) investigate each account. They check whether the company is still operating, who owns it now, where the money is going, who makes decisions, what just changed, and whether the problem the rep solves is showing up. DeadAccount then re-tiers the whole book into focus, build, monitor, and graveyard.

Every Monday sales reps get the following:

  • Their books re-tiered, with dead and acquired accounts set aside.
  • A verdict on which accounts to work this week and why.>
  • An account brief for each priority account covering what changed, who matters, and the risk to know before the call.
  • A suggested opening line tied to each news signal.

Every finding links to its source and carries a date. When something can’t be verified, the brief says so. Reps describe what they sell once, in a Seller Context file that DeadAccount reads before every scan.

"Every Monday for 20 years I opened my CRM and had no idea which of my accounts had changed since Friday. Finding out took most of the week, and by then I'd already spent it on the wrong ones," said Yousuf Imran, founder of Mangosteen Studio, in a statement. "DeadAccount is the Monday morning I always wanted. The research is done, the book is ranked, and the rep's only job is to go sell."
