ClearSlide Launches Video Email Feature

ClearSlide, providers of a platform for sales and marketing, has launched ClearSlide video mail, which is integrated into the ClearSlide Mail mobile app for iOS to enable sellers and marketers to record, send, and track personalized videos to customers via email within minutes.

These customized, branded videos have been shown to increase email open rates by 60 percent and increase conversion rates by more than 20 percent.

"Sellers and marketers are desperate for innovative ways to engage customers with relevant content. Voicemails are routinely ignored, and automated or generic emails are often trashed immediately," said Raj Gossain, vice president of products at ClearSlide, in a statement. "The ClearSlide video mail feature of CS Mail provides a unique and proven approach to building immediate connections with customers through personalized videos that are as easy to create as your iPhone or iPad is to use."

Some example use cases for video email include the following:

• Prospecting into new target accounts with personalized break-in videos;
• Put a face to a seller's name using an introductory message before a first meeting;
• Send a greeting from senior executives to reinforce the proposal and demonstrate commitment;
• Welcome new customers as part of the onboarding process and introduce them to their support team;
• Share product updates with internal teams and customers; and
• Improve sales readiness by personalizing messages from marketing and product management.

With just a few taps within the ClearSlide Mail app, users can record short videos in seconds, preview, and then send the clip embedded as a link or attached to an existing presentation. Users can work with pre-built background templates or choose their own backgrounds,. Once video mails are sent, instant alerts provide up-to-the-minute metrics , including open rates, viewing statistics, and whether the video was forwarded on and to whom.

Videos are automatically stored in the ClearSlide video library, where they can be re-edited, shared or appended to new or existing presentations. The entire library and the video mail creation interface is accessible directly within the ClearSlide Mail app.
