Cirrus Insight Brings Geopointe Geolocation to Gmail

Cirrus Insight, providers of an app for integrating Salesforce with Gmail and Google Apps, has integrated Arrowpointe's Geopointe, a geolocation application for the Salesforce platform, with Gmail, giving Cirrus Insight and Geopointe customers access to geolocation data right in their inboxes.

With Cirrus Insigth, users can immediately access any email contact's Salesforce information in in the Gmail side panel and, with the click of a button, map his location and view other contacts and accounts within a given radius via Geopointe. Users can also load selected locations into a route, have the route optimized, even load those accounts and contacts into a campaign in Salesforce to track customers and send out customized drip campaigns.

Geopointe also lets users sort their Salesforce data geographically, plan and optimize routes, save them into marketing campaigns in Salesforce, and even access their Geopointe data on mobile devices.

"We built Geopointe to unlock the powerful geographic information hidden in your Salesforce data. Making your data more accessible has been key to our pursuit which is why we are so excited to be partnering with Cirrus Insight to bring Geopointe to the inbox where you spend most of your day," said Brandy Colmer, director of customer success at Arrowpointe, in a statement.
